buffnut Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 Been using PRICELINE but new to forum. Looking for upscale hotel in any part of manhattan at 3.5 to 4 star level. Have bid many times for toronto, canada and have noticed that if you bid a particular star level for a particular area you almost always get the same place even if it's not desired ( not all 3.5 stars are created equal). This has limited my bid options. Is this also true for new york. Any bidding tips for particular zones would be appreciated.
thereuare Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 Welcome to BetterBidding! One person's "worst hotel ever" is another user's "can't wait to stay again". I'd start with the Priceline Hotel List and based upon the hotels previously reported, see if there are any zones you wish to target / avoid.Let us know what you find and which zone(s) you decide are acceptable and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
