starsailor01 Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 Used the HOTWIRE link.Amenities shown were:Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s)Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access Price was USD 76 per night, with taxes and everything came up to about 94.Unfortunately, we had booked for 3 adults, and after finding out the name of the hotel (Delta Chelsea), I gave the hotel a call and was told that I had been assigned to a Delta room with only ONE queen bed! I told the hotel that there was no way I could fit 3 people into a queen bed, and they said that I should contact hotwire about it. I called hotwire, and the hotwire agent gave me two options:1) Upgrade to a better room or pay the $20 fee for a cot2) Cancel this reservation and book at another hotelI picked the second option. Initially, I stayed with the same star rating (3.5*) and the area (Toronto East). It seemed that at this time of the year, only the Delta Chelsea is available. I decided to pick a different star and area (Which I am reviewing here).Just putting the word out for those of you travelling in three and planning to pick a 3.5* hotel in Toronto East :)
