ua31213 Posted February 2, 2010 Report Posted February 2, 2010 I just bid $63 for 4* hotels in the Downtown-Harbor Island and got it right away. With taxes ($15.80) it came to $78.80. I didn't see this hotel anywhere so I was pretty surprised when I first got it. I just saw that there were 13 free rebid zones since I was bidding only for 4* hotels, so I thought I would start at $63 and move up. But I got the first bid. The hotel actually looks pretty nice. They also have something called "Hosted Evening Wine Hour" which sounds pretty cool. They give every guest a free glass of wine and it's designed to be a time where guests meet and mingle lobby living room. I don't even like wine but I do love free stuff, and that idea sounds pretty cool. It also says that the hotels come with terry cloth animal print robes...grrrr (exactly how it says it on the website!).
