Started with 4* in Miami Downtown and added zones $45-57 - didn't get a hotel. Added 3.5 * the next night and started at $40 - got the Hilton at $44 a night (2 rooms). Not sure if multiple rooms helps you get a cheaper room???

Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $44.00 (USD)

Number of Rooms: 2

Number of Nights: 1

Room Subtotal: $88.00 (USD)

Taxes and Fees: $19.82 (USD)

Total Room Cost: $107.82 (USD)

We're cruising on Feb. 20th, in 2 weeks. Already have the Hilton Downtown Miami reserved at the regular unrestricted rate ($199+ taxes for the bayview room, 2 queen beds), but decided to try PRICELINE after seeing how successful some people have been on various sites.

I bid for a 3.5* in Downtown Miami, Feb 19-20, 2010, then added Dadeland, N. Miami, Miami West, Southwest Miami and then Aventura. I lost, went up to $65, and started at $45 (because I saw that you got one at $44). You tried around the 1st and I booked on the 2nd, I checked the Hilton site right before bidding just now and the room went up in cost by $10.

Yeah, I saw it in the first place, then when replying it wasn't there so I forgot! I went in to edit and add something and came back and saw this post :) I checked the calendar already, I don't think there was anything for Downtown Miami. Thx.
