jen_0_0 Posted January 31, 2010 Author Report Posted January 31, 2010 Hey, thanks for the welcome :-)Travel dates are 5th July to 8th July.
thereuare Posted February 1, 2010 Report Posted February 1, 2010 This property has not yet been identified, and as there are many 3* hotels which have these amenities, i don't think we'll be able to gain much insight into this one. However, if you change your search to 2adults/2childre a new 3* hotel appears for about the same price with: Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed InternetThis is a match for the Best Western City Centre so that would be my best guess for this one. Would this work for your plans? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. jen_0_0 Posted February 6, 2010 Author Report Posted February 6, 2010 Thanks for the info. I've never thought about changing bookings to include (imaginary) kids lol! If we found a good deal but the booking included kids, would there be a problem at the hotel if we didn't have any? I know individual hotels may differ, but just wondering if anyone had tried this?Cheers
thereuare Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 It's no problem if you book for more guests than you actually are... it's only a problem the other way around, booking for fewer guests and showing up with more.Although unlikely, you may get a clerk asking if you'll be having kids join you later (but s/he would only be asking to make sure you received a room with proper bedding... not because considering denying the reservation) and you can simply say at the last minute an in-law (or cousin, aunt, uncle, etc) was able to watch the kids and give you some quiet time. Please remember to use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases and searches.
