Hotwire Hotel: 3.5* Galveston San Luis Resort

Had a very interesting happening on this one. I was trying to get the Hotel Galvez for one night for my parents since we are staying there as well the same night. (Posted in a different post.) Turns out that the San Luis Resort now has the exact same amenities as the Hotel Galvez. Not sure if the other poster posted the incorrect amenities or if they changed them, but here is the result of my bid:

1 room(s) @ $85.00 per night x 1 night(s) $85.00

Taxes and fees: $17.95

Hotel Total $102.95

Amenities are:

Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Tennis

Again (same as the Hotel Galvez)

I'll post a review of both when we return, but from what I know, they are both very nice. And both are on the ocean (across the street) so they're leaving that off of their amenity list.

Fortunately this worked out ok for you as the hotels are across the street from each other, but a good time to reiterate that although the hotels are often identified before purchase, nothing is ever guaranteed.
