Guest voila
These boards provide a great service! We are planning a trip to Vegas April 1-6. We'd like to split our stay, probably Fri-Sat (4/1-4/3), and then 4/3-4/6. We'd like to stay someplace less expensive Fri-Sat, and then stay at a nice place, preferably the Venetian or the Bellagio, the rest of the stay. We'd love to stay at the JW Marriott for part of our stay, too. If anyone has any thoughts on a bidding strategy for either part of our stay, such that we'd have a shot at getting Venetian, Bellagio, or the Marriott for under $150 a night, or another source for getting a good deal during this time, we'd appreciate it. (We've already found Paris for $129 a night 4/3-4/6, but would like to stay someplace nicer, in that price range, if we could). Thanks for any ideas you have! Link to comment
Vivabebe
voila, I booked the JW Marriott on Priceline for a three night stay.I got it for $100 per night for Thurs/Fri/Sat. At first I waskind of worried, since it is not on the strip, but now, afterreading reviews on www.tripadvisor.com, I am hoping it willbe great. I have a calendar laid out in one full month. I carefully markmy 72 hour bid dates. I bid for the strip first, at 4* $60, and added zones that I knew did not have 4* hotels. Look those zones up on Priceline. I kept adding a zone, and some more bids and was surprised when I got the JW, and forgot theyhave a resort. I am happy! It looks great! Keep reading everything, and keep records. Have fun! thereuare
I don't think you're going to be successful for your 5* attempt at your $150 limit unless rates go down between now and then.
