Priceline Hotel: 4* San Francisco (Financial District-Embarcadero) Hyatt

Hi All,

I am looking for a 3.5 or 4 star hotel in SF , preferably in Financial District/Embarcadero, but also willing to consider USE/USW, or SOMA. Last night I bid $70 for a 3.5 or 4 star hotel in FD/E. That was rejected, so I added SOMA, and that too was rejected. My dates are 2/23-2/27 (checking out on the 27th).

Any suggestions for my next move? I can have my fance bit too?

I'd appreciate any feedback. This forum is certainly a great resource.

Hotwire has a 3.5* hotel in the Embarcadero are for $72/nite.....might be the Club Quarters. The 4* hotel going for $109 is most likely the Hyatt.

Do you understand the concept of free rebidding on Priceline? The FAQs explain how you can get multiple bids per session, greatly increasing you chances of an accepted bid.

Noticed you posted for hotel IDs on the Hotwire side. Understand that one can usually bid ten to twenty percent less on Priceline and usually get the same star rating that Hotwire has. Seeing that the only 3.5* on the Priceline list for Embarcadero/Financial District is Club Quarters, there is a good probability you might get it.

I ended up using PRICELINE (using this site's link) and getting the hyatt regency for $75 a night.

Booked this for $75/nt for Feb 23-27. Last night I tried $70 for FD/E and SOMA, but was rejected. Today, tried just FD/E and $75 and that worked.
