Started bidding at $55 went to $69 unsuccessfully. What appeared to be the same hotel was listed on Hotwire for $84.A day later noticed that HOTWIRE dropped to $69. Placed fist bit at $60 - declined, my husband placed his PRICELINE bid at $65 and it was accepted. We were offered to extend days at the same rate which we did for 2 additional days. These 3 days will be used for day trips and we really just needed a place to sleep and could not find available reasonable accommodations in Paia area. We will then move the Hyatt Regency Resort (mentioned in a previous priceline hotel thread) in Lahaina for the next 6 days.Aloha!
