Trying to ID this Four Star property from 7/6 to 7/13 in the Fort Lauderdale Beach Area. It has the following amenities: Resort, Near Beach, Smoke-Free, Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business, Laundry, High-Speed Internet, Tennis Nearby, Children's Activity Program.

Yes. It's still there for $119 per night with these amenities: Resort, Near Beach, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Laundry Facilties, High Speed Internet, Tennis Nearby, Children's Activity.

Best guess for this property would be Westin Beach Resort.

I thought that it might be the Westin. In fact, if it is, then I'd definitely take it.

However, I checked your Hotwire Hotel List and noticed a discrepency. The Westin Beach Resort offers "Beach Access", while the current listing on Hotwire says "Near Beach".

Any thoughts?

HOTWIRE used to call the icon with a beach and arrow "beach access" but has since changed it to "Near Beach"... the two terms on the board are interchangable.

Hey guys,

I checked out the aforementioned listing on HOTWIRE tonight (I'm hoping that the price goes down a bit before I book), and I noticed a 3.5 Star property also listed under Ft. Lauderdale Beach. The amenities are: Resort, Beachfront, Pool, Restaurant, High Speed Internet. The price is showing $171 per night...clearly more than what we expect to be the Westin...but, if its a better property, maybe it would be worth it.

I ended up booking directly through the hotel and using comp points that I had earned to receive a good deal.  Thanks for the help though.
