Thanks. I figured Palm Springs is a common weekend destination and my dates were flexible, so it was worth a try. In your experience, can you save a lot by splitting weekday and weekend nights into separate bids? Of course, this could easily require a hotel move which may be inconvenient.

the bnp paribas tennis open is that week, and weekend. that could be why rates are higher or availability is lower. I'm trying myself for 3/12/-3/14/10, having trouble finding something reasonable.
