Hotwire Hotel: 4* Indianapolis (Downtown) Westin

I'm a long time follower, first time poster! Thanks for your great information, it has helped numerous times! On to my question:

I have found the following

05/13/2010 - 05/17/2010

2 Rooms - 2 People

4* Downtown Indianapolis

$64.00 per room per night

Amenities: Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-Speed Internet Access

TripAdvisor Rating 3/5

Based on 120+ Reviews (Last Reviewed January 2010)

I researched and, from the ammenity list, this hotel appears to be a match for the University Place Conference Center & Hotel Indianapolis.

The problem is, TripAdvisor shows the University Place Conference Center & Hotel Indianapolis to have a rating of 3.5/4 with 81 reviews, last reviewed November 22, 2009.

The Westin Indianapolis is a MATCH for the TripAdvisor Raing of 3/5 based on 127 reviews, last reviewed on January 2, 2010. The Westin is NOT a match with the HOTWIRE Amenities, as the Westin has a pool and HOTWIRE is not listing the pool in the amenities of this particular 4*.

What's your thoughts? Is this the Westin? Or may it be the University Place Conference Center & Hotel Indianapolis? The amenities say one thing and TripAdvisor says another....I'd rather not have the University Hotel.

Glad to hear the board has been helpful to your in the past, but it would be appreciated if you began to share your results with the board so that your wins can help other users with their own purchases, just as those posting their wins before you have helped you with yours. (imagine if somebody purchased the property with the amenities above but chose to not post their win to the board :) )

A property with the exact amenities above has not yet been reported to the board. Given the Tripadvisor info i'd guess that the Westin may have added a Smoke Free icon and removed the Pool icon since it was previousy reported to the board, so that would be my guess.

I did book the hotel listed above, and it indeed was the Westin Indianapolis

Amenities at time of booking:

Smoke Free Rooms, Business Center, Fitness Center, High-Speed Internet Access, Restaurant

I paid $69.00 for 05/13/10 - 05/14/10 (2 Adults - 1 Room)

I paid $69.00 for 05/14/10 - 05/17/10 (2 Adults - 1 Room)

I paid $68.00 for 05/13/10 - 05/17/10 (1 Adult - 1 Room)

I paid 69.00 for 05/14/10 - 05/16/10 (2 Adults - 1 Room)
