Hotwire Hotel: Downtown - SoHo 2.5* ID problems

03/20/10-03/25/10 Hotwire offered 2.5 * -hotel for 119 $. The amenities were complimentary breakfast, fitness center and high-speed internet access. I have no idea what hotel that could be, can someone help me please? I thought that it could be Hampton Inn Manhattan Soho or Seaport.

This could be something like a Hampton Inn or Best Western (possibly the BW Hanbee?), but unfortunately, this listing has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board, and without a tripadvisor rating showing on the detail page (I am not seeing one for this listing) it's difficult to narrow down this listing further.

You could try seeing if this property was available for both the first night and, separately, the remainder. You could then purchase it for the first night and if you like it, then purchase it for the remainder. If you didn't like it, you could spend the first night there and then make alternate plans for the remainder.

Although this hotel has not yet been identified or reported to the board, the Best Western Bowery Hanbee Hotel seems like a good fit and that would be my best guess.

However, do you need to be in the Downtown area for this stay or is there something in particular you're looking for from this stay? There are higher rated hotels and in more central locations for about the same price as this property above.

We have stayed few times in Times Square area and in Chelsea but this time we wanted to stay in SoHo/Downtown area but it's hard to find a hotel for competitive price (~100$/night). Hampton inn Manhattan-Soho seemed very good and they've got good reviews in Tripadvisor so that could be our target but I don't know. I let you guys know what are we doing.

Although rates are not high for these dates, sub-$100 wins are not that common, and become evenl less so when restricting your location to just one zone.

How about what is believed to be the Holiday Inn Soho for $129/nite, just a few dollars more than the 2.5* above?

I didn't find anything special with good price so I booked Ace Hotel, $ 129 / night + taxes. It is cancellable so I continue searching with HOTWIRE links if something better comes before trip. Thanks for your help.
