superjoy Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Hello-I have tried bidding on Priceline (for one week now) with the re-bid zone strategies for the Mayfair/Soho area, 5 star level.I have had no luck with bidding up to $160/night .I was offered an "instant price" of $184/night.I noticed that recently, bids were accepted around $128/night.Should I keep trying? Do you think that there is any possibility of success for under $180/night at this point in time?THANK YOU for your help.
thereuare Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Rates are date specific and may be higher for your dates than when you saw the lower priced bids won. What price had you bid when you received the $184/nite counter-offer? What is your maximum bid for this stay? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
