CathyM
I am going to bid on Priceline for two rooms. One couple needs the trip insurance and I do not.Would it be better for me to bid on both rooms, but then can the other couple call Priceline and add on the insurance?Or, should we bid individually on the rooms? If bidding individually, what are the chances of them getting a different 4 star hotel than us. I would hate for them to get a different hotel than us.Any suggestions? Link to comment
bbbb
I don't think your going to be able to add it later and theres a good chance you could wind up at another hotel if you don't bid the two rooms together. Link to comment
Scorp
Priceline's Help says:Travel Insurance coverage from American Home Assurance Company must be purchased on our website at the same time you Name Your Own Price SM for your hotel reservation. However, Hotwire does allow you to add insurance later. From Hotwire's Help section:If you do not buy Trip Protection during the Hotwire booking process, you may still contact Access America directly and get coverage up until the day before your departure. You probably don't want to go through Hotwire, though. :) But I think you could use Access America (Hotwire's insurer) for the Priceline purchase, also... but I am not familiar with them or their terms.
