You should post a reply to the thread that "this trip was cancelled" or "we booked Hotel XYZ direct with the hotel" (or something similar). The thread above was for dates in September and i didn't see any other wins for you posted to the board for September... if posting for two different dates, but will only be taking one of the trips (ie- both dates are acceptable but will only be traveling once) then we treat these as the same stay and all posts should go in the same thread, as it readuces open/unresolved threads such as the one above.

Please reply to your Chicago Hotwire thread with whatever you ended up doing for that stay, and if you changed dates and that win is already reflected on the board, please point us in the direction of that thread so we can merge the two threads. This helps keep the board better organized and more useful for others. Then reply to this thread and we'll have a look at the above.

I booked a hotel for these dates using your HOTWIRE link. I read many posts and was convinced that the 4.5* hotel with the following ammentities was the Inter-Continental.

They were right!!! We got it for $114/night for the 4 nights. This is great because we were looking for a hotel with a swimming pool which the Inter-Continental does have. Why do you think the ammentities in Hotwire do not reflect the fact that the Inter-Continental has a pool?

Why do you think the Hotwire ammentities doesn't show the pool? Also, this hotel was posted as a 4.5*, the name of this thread should be updated to reflect that.

This hote has been seen both with and without the Pool icon. Sometimes hotels "mix it up" a bit in order to increase the opacity of their property or to now show an amenity which most hotels in the area may not offer.
