My husband and I are going on our first cruise on Feb. 6th. We are flying into Miami on the 5th. We need a hotel for 1 night. I have been trying to bid on hotels with no takers until I realized that this is Superbowl weekend. Which means all of the hotels have super inflated prices. If I would have known that this was Superbowl weekend I would not have planned our cruise at this time! Well to late for that. So my question is what should I do? I am not willing to pay for a hotel at these inflated prices. I was hoping to get a 3-4 star hotel at the prices I have seen others get hotels for. $50-60 bucks through Priceline. I would like to get as close to the Miami airport as possible because shuttle service would be nice. I was wondering if I should wait till just a few days before my trip to bid in hopes that the prices will drop? What have you seen in the past? What should I bid? Please Help!!

This will never happen for your date. When you see prices like that is it slower times for the hotel in this area. You stay is prime time. You will not find a hotel that cheap anywhere. The best i have found is a 2* at MIA $139. All areas arround Miami is super expensive. The prices will be higher the longer you wait Post back with your thoughts.Yellowdog.
