PeterG Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 Trying to book the New Yorker...could this be any other hotel? Amenties are:Internet, fitness center, RestaurantThanks! Also...any way to guarantee 2 beds?
AaronJB Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 There's always the chance a HOTWIRE listing could be a different/previously unreported property, but the New Yorker has been the only 3.5* reported in this zone with this amenity set.In terms of 2 beds, it would depend on how many you are searching for when booking. If you are searching for only 2 people, then bedding would only be guaranteed for 2 people (in other words, 1 bed.) If you are searching for more than 2, then bedding for more than 2 would be guaranteed - while that would commonly mean 2 beds, it may also mean 1 + sofabed or 1 + rollaway. In NYC, where rooms w/2 beds are not the norm (some properties don't have rooms with 2 beds and NYC rooms in general can be quite small), absolutely ensuring two beds via PRICELINE or HOTWIRE is often difficult. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links.

If I search for 3 adults and one child...good bet I'm going to get 2 beds, right? Or atleast a bed and sofa bed....???
AaronJB Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 3 & 1 would guarantee some sort of bedding for your party. While that is commonly 2 beds, it could also be something else (especially in NYC, not as much some other major areas), such as 1 bed + sofa or rollaway, correct.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchase.
PeterG Posted July 9, 2010 Author Report Posted July 9, 2010 Thanks fof the help...trip to NYC never happened! :)
