mikeyjc Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 Seemed logical to follow the crowd here ... especially since we need to catch a 6:35AM flight on Tuesday the 26th ... :) Details:Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $30.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 2 Number of Nights: 1 Taxes and Fees: $15.60 (USD) Total Room Cost: $75.60 (USD) Strategy:Last PM, after seeing all of the successful $30 bids posted here (THANK YOU ALL!!!) ...I bid $30 for a 3* in the DTW zone - rejected, no counter.Added Taylor (free rebid), increased to $33 - rejected again, no counter.Tonight, I figured I'd try the same strategy - and, ended up with a win at $30 on my first bid.VERY glad now that I received 2 rejections earlier tonight at the 3.5* level ($39 for DTW, $41 for DTW + Taylor).This forum simply ROCKS !!! :) As always, I clicked thru to Priceline from the BB Forum link.
