Hotwire Hotel: Help Identifying 3* in Central Park Area

I am trying to identify a Hotwire 3 Star Hotel, for two guests, in the Central Park area, for January 29th and 30th of 2010. It is coming up as $76 per night. The hotel shows only two amenities, Fitness Center and High Speed Internet. Hotwire indicates it is recommended by 90% of customer reviews.

I am new to this forum but a frequent traveler to NYC and a frequent Hotwire user. The Central Park area is so big on Hotwire, it's hard to guess where this might be. I did not see any three star hotels ID'd in the hotel list for that area. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm sorry to say that a property with this amenitie combo has not yet been reported/ID'd to the board. And i don't know the area well enough to take an educated guess for this. Maybe we have some other member on the board that can gain some info about this property. Sorry I could not be of more assistance

Thanks very much for checking. It sounded too good to be true so we chickened out and went with a direct booking for another hotel in midtown. We have had a lot of success using Hotwire on 3 1/2 star properties and higher in several cities. We haven't tried any 3 star ones yet and in this case, $76 just sounded too far below the rest of the Manhattan listings, without even a short list of potential candidates to hope for. In the future we will post our results when we use Hotwire on this forum.
