Priceline Hotel: Resort Hawaii (Waikoloa-Kohala Coast) Marriott Waikoloa Resort and Spa

It's a 4* hotel (or resort) - but when looking at previous posts, it's only 3 or 3.5 stars listed. Anyone had any luck on getting a 4*? Seems like I can get for $92. Offered $70 and said if I raised $22, I'll have a higher chance of getting it.

What are your date/s of travel? Additionally, there is no way to know what property may appear as a win when using PRICELINE. Other posters who posted regarding different star ratings bid on lower star ratings (I'm guessing you're bidding for 4*?)

The $92 price would be a "counter-offer" by PRICELINE. You would have a high likelyhood of acceptance at that price. However, you could also try to see if a lower price could be accepted by using re-bidding, which is explained in this thread.

Wahoo! I've been trying for a couple days at $75, $80 - thinking I would get the Hapuna Beach. Had my husband try and just bid $90 for the Waikoloa Marriott.

Sorry it's for 4/1/10 to 4/4/10
