kayaker3 Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 4* Orlando SeaWorld - I-drive South Area Hotel $69Travel Dates: 2/20-2/22Resort, fitness center, pool(s), restaurants, business center, laundry facilities, hsia, tennis nearby
kayaker3 Posted January 13, 2010 Author Report Posted January 13, 2010 Also, should I be worried that it has resort listed as an amenity, what does that mean? Does it mean it's not really a 4*?? Thanks again for any help.
thereuare Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 Welcome to BetterBidding!HOTWIRE doesn't use "resort" as a star classification, instead using it as an amenity description of the property... i wouldn't try to read into this aspect very much.If you go back to HOTWIRE and click the CONTINUE button next to this offering and then click the "See all amenities" link under the icons, do you see more amenities than what you've listed above? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. kayaker3 Posted January 13, 2010 Author Report Posted January 13, 2010 Yes it also says Kitchenette, Children's Activity Program, any ideas of which hotel it is? thanks againthanks for the response on the resort issue!
thereuare Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 The above matches previous reports for the Hilton Grand Vacations Club at Seaworld so that would be my best guess. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. kayaker3 Posted January 13, 2010 Author Report Posted January 13, 2010 tripadvisor.com says the Hilton Grand Vacations Club at Seaworld is only a 3.5* while the one on hotwire is 4* could they just have different star values on different sites? thanks again and I will let you know how it goes when I book one of these hotels! Of course using your links :)
AaronJB Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 Ratings can vary slightly from site-to-site.
thereuare Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 Rather than focus on the minor difference between the .5 star difference between the two services, i'd focus on the Tripadvisor user reviews, which for this property has a very high 4.5/5.0 rating. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
