Hotwire Hotel: 3* DC (White House-Capitol Hill) Four Points

Trying to take a spring break trip with kids for first time to DC. Your site has been fantastic. I have a question about 3* White House/Downtown on Hotwire. The dates are Mar 12-17 with 2 adults and 2 kids. The result was $93 with amenities of non smoking, swimming, restaurant, and laundry from a little research it sounds like Four Points. I am reluctant to use Priceline because of double occupancy requirements. The most important factor for use will be transportation since we will be mostly sightseeing. Thanks in advance any help is appreciated and once again great site.

The Four Points has been reported to the board with the amenities above except for the Smoke Free icon, which this hotel is, so it may have been added since last reported to the board. The one caveat that i do have though is that this property was just reported to the board 2 weeks ago, without the Smoke Free icon, so this change would have had to have taken place within the last two weeks (generally feel more confident in taking the "an amenity has been added" leap if it's been awhile since the property had been reproted thru the HOTWIRE service) With the above noted, the Fourt Points would still be my best guess for this property.

Thanks for the quick response it sounds like it may still be the best deal and that is obviously the chance you take with a Hotwire but you have giving me a pause. If I didn't have the kids I would be a little more riskier.

Could you help me with two other White House/Downtown ones that way I can figure out my options. the first one is 4* $149 fitness, pool, restaurant, business, internet.

The second one is 3 1/2* $129 fitness, restaurant, business, internet. One other question I saw quite a bit of fluctuation in prices in the same day on a few properties is that common on Hotwire? Once again the site is great and I will certainly refer everyone I know to check it out.

The 4* has not yet been identified. A guess would be the Hyatt on Capitol Hill if it were upgraded from the 3.5* level to 4* level. No evidence of this, but the Hyatt hasn't been reported to the board thru HOTWIRE in about a year, so an upgrade is possible; although these amenities are common for a 4* hotel so just about any hotel in the zone with a Pool would be fair game.

The 3.5* matches previous reports for the Hamilton Crowne Plaza so that would be my best guess for this one.
