hcm Posted January 12, 2010 Report Posted January 12, 2010 I set out to get a 4* for $65 or so - figured I'd get the TI - but when I logged in to Priceline I saw that the 5* was showing as the best deal, and the retail price per room was $169. I figured that was a signal that I could get a room on Priceline for $80-90, so figured I'd go for it and either get the Trump or the Wynn (based on recent wins shown on this forum). Here were my bids:Bid 5* Strip North $75 - rejected, counteroffered $95. I never take counteroffers.added rebid zone, raised to $80 - rejectedadded rebid zone, raised to $85 - accepted by Trump. Sweet. I don't usually care to pay much more for a 5*, but I've heard this is nice so what the heck for $85.Check-In Date: Monday, January 18, 2010Check-Out Date: Tuesday, January 19, 2010Hotel Name: Trump Hotel, Las Vegas2000 Fashion Show DriveLas Vegas, Nevada 89109702-982-0000Number of Rooms: 1Number of Nights: 1Subtotal: $85.00Taxes and Fees: $18.63Total Charges*: $103.63
