Started at $67, then rebid at $72 and finally won at $77. Used the BetterBidding link to PRICELINE.

I really am happy with the hotel won, as it is right in the Gaslamp Quarter.

I read another bidder's post that he was disappointed in getting the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina. The shape of the PRICELINE bid zone is ridiculous - a little finger stretches out to encompass the Sheraton. I was worried about the same outcome but willing to gamble this time. HOTWIRE has better zones but was $20 more.
