We R PSU
I'm looking for a strip hotel for 3/13. Hotwire has the Venetian for $205 but I would like to keep my stay ~$140 with taxes and fees. However, after shopping comparing prices for this date the Venetian looks like a steal at $205. Any chance of me getting this at $140. I bid from $95 upto $110 on PL last night.Note - I have not booked a back-up. Link to comment
thereuare
Let us know the highest bid before taxes and fees and we'll provide a bidding strategy. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
We R PSU
The highest bid I put in was 110. Hotwire price is now at $224. I can not seem to find a reasonable back-up so I am starting to panic. Unless I can find a backup that is decent, I am willing to bid upto the Htowire rate. Link to comment
thereuare
How about THE WESTIN as a back-up at $149? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
We R PSU
Thanks. The Westin would be fine for a back-up. Since prices seem to be rising, I might even take a shot at a 4* on P/L and end up at the Westin. I'm not familar with the site provided in the link. Is the room cancellable? Link to comment

We R PSU
Nice tool. Thanks. I took a look at the other deals and I may book Imperial Palace for $79. I like the location and value a little better.Do I click on the link for from your list under "support betterbidding"? When I do this it does not look any different than when I go directly to the site. Just want to make sure I'm doing it right to support this site.Thanks. Link to comment
thereuare
That Imperial Palace is "on request", and given the NASCAR events, there is a good chance it may not be available. There is an explanation of the "on request" vs. "available" in the EASYCLICK TRAVEL thread. We R PSU
Hotwire was $212 today and Venetian site is $219. I can now rebid on P/L/. Any thoughts on a strategy or a price that may be accepted? I can not get the hotel I will book directly through their site at $219. Link to comment
bbbb
Hotwire was $212 today and Venetian site is $219. I can now rebid on P/L/. Any thoughts on a strategy or a price that may be accepted? I can not get the hotel I will book directly through their site at $219. About $190-$195 for a winning PL bid with those hotwire rates. I would start lower then $190 because you have a lot of free rebids. Link to comment
thereuare
You have many re-bids....I would select 5* Las Vegas Strip...Bid $150, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $160, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $170, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $180, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $185, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $190, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $195, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $200.If rejected close browser and re-access Priceline however you did previously...Select 5* Strip and re-bid zone you have not yet used (so keep track of what you add above)...Bid $205, if rejected add re-bid zone and...Bid $210, if rejected add re-bid zone and...Bid whatever will still have you below the Venetian direct rate.Good Luck and let us know how it goes.
