GregM Posted January 11, 2010 Report Posted January 11, 2010 Hello,I'm ready to start bidding for a 5* room in London for 6/14/10-6/20/10 (six nights). My preferred zones are Mayfair-Soho, Kensington-Earls Court-Knightsbridge, and Westminster. I see there are five rebid zones for 5*: Bloomsbury-Marble Arch, Finsbury and Islington, Hammersmith, Notting Hill-Bayswater, and City and London Bridge. What is a good starting bid, and where will I reasonably end up? Anything in particular to be aware of for this bid? Of course I'm happy to use the site's PRICELINE link to start bidding. Many thanks,Greg

GregM Posted January 14, 2010 Author Report Posted January 14, 2010 Success! I used your technique, but bid more conservatively after seeing this thread: Hotwire London (Mayfair-Soho) The Grosvenor HouseEnd result (using the PRICELINE link, of course): Grosvenor House, A J.W. Marriott Hotel for $128! Six nights including taxes came to $920.04. I was fully expecting to end up in the $165-$175 range, so I'm extremely pleased with this result, and looking forward to my trip! Thanks for all of your help! :) -Greg
