Hotwire Hotel: Advice about New Orleans Hotels

Hi there.

I have researched this with what's already on this site, but I wondered if you had any advice for me?

I am looking at 2 hotels. One is a downtown 4 star with pool, gym, business center, restaurant and internet. 3.5 tripadvisor rating. It's showing $72 a night. Am I right in thinking this is likely to be the Sheraton?

The other, which would be my preference is a 3.5 French Quarter hotel, non smoking with pool, gym and breakfast included. It's showing as $79 and has a 4 star tripadvisor rating. You advised previously that this is likely to be the Dauphine Orleans. Did anyone actually confirm this?

What else is it possible either of these could be?

My dates are not set in stone so I was looking at a couple of different ones. One example- 4/11 to 4/14 was one. In that one the french quarter 3.5 is $69 and the downtown 4 star is $114. They vary price-wise according to date, but they are definitely the same hotels...

Are your plans not firm or are your dates flexible that a variety of date ranges are possible?
