I wasn't recommending either of the above properties, i mention them since you stated that you wanted to be on the strip yet both of these properties are in the strip zone but not directly on the strip.

If these properties are acceptable then it's "safe" to bid using PRICELINE, if not, i'd go for the 4* on HOTWIRE in the Central Strip zone for $109/nite with Casino, Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business, Golf, Spa for which my best guess is the Treasure Island (although note this property also charges a $20/nite resort fee not included in the HOTWIRE price)

ok that makes sense. Thanks! I guess my last "hangup" is the fact that you can't select non smoking. I really dont want to be forced into a smoking room. Will check those sites again and see what I decide. :)

After a few tries and LOTS of deal searching I decided to bid via your PRICELINE link. After a few tries I ended up with Treasure Island for $84 a night. Very happy with the price especially for superbowl weekend. Thanks for the help!
