hungry Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 Hello,First time here. Would appreciate any help/insight on a hotel I am looking to book through HOTWIRE (also for the first time).Details:Jan 9 thru Jan 132 Adults2 RoomsInterested in 3.5* to 4*I see two great price options for 3.5* at the moment:MTC: $99 Fitness, Restaurant, Business, InternetMTE: $103 same as aboveAny thoughts on which could be a nicer hotel or better one to go with? Is 3.5* going to be a decent hotel anyways? Again - first time looking to book through HOTWIRE and must admit to being a little nervous. Don't want to get a bad hotel. Should I look at other 3.5* options - 1 in Chelsea and Downtown/SoHo. Or 4* in Central Park/SoHo.Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!
thereuare Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 Welcome to BetterBidding! These amenities are very common for a hotel in NYC, as evidenced by both of these properties having the same amenity combination. The 3.5* MTC property matches previous reports for both the Hudson and the Novotel so either of these would be my best guess for this one.The 3.5 MTE property is consistent with the Roosevelt or the Tudor Hotel at the UN, so either of these would be my best guess for this one.Around the same pricepoint is a 3.5* in the Chelsea zone with Restaurant, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, for which my best guess is The New Yorker. This hotel used to get poor reviews but was recently renovated and since the reviews have greatly improvedPlease use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help.
