Alanslegal80 Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 Since we are talking about Sheraton Heathrow wins (and taxes), I also had a success with this hotel07/15/10 - 07/17/10Accepted Bid: $52.00Taxes: $13.13Total per night = $65.13Total for 2 nights $130.26My bids were:Bid $42, counter $57Bid $43, counter $57Bid $44, counter $57 Bid $49, counter $57Bid $50, counter $57Bid $51, counter $65!Saw this thread, and heck, bid $52.00 and got it. [i am a Starwood Platinum member so hopefully they'll allow me free exec. lounge access :)](If I booked direct with SPG, it would have cost me an extra ~$80usd a/i - when all I need is a bed to sleep on for a couple of nights)Ps. I used BB's PRICELINE links :)

MadFlyer Posted January 8, 2010 Report Posted January 8, 2010 I did not even have to call with Starwood details. Just sent email to : [email protected] with hotel confirmation number. They responded directly confiming in reservation. I was given the upgrade to Elite room. Will be interesting to know if they do the double upgrade for you. Good Luck. The lounge was not attended. Just key access. Just ok. I was glad there was a convenience store accross motorway from this hotel. The city buses were 5 minutes away and take about 15 minutes to the tube station. good link for planning transfers. http://www.londontoolkit.com/travel/heathr...parking_map.htm
