srock Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 Using the PRICELINE line, I began bidding for a 3.5 star or better hotel in downtown St. Louis for one night (2/6/10) at $38. This was rejected but at this star level there are 5 rebidding zones. I kept increasing the bid by $2 until I got accepted at $42 (plus $13.92 in taxes and fees). The Marriott was an "upgrade" to 4 stars.
