Hotwire Hotel: hotel nyc april 1-3

hello i am a first time user. i am looking for some help in finding a 4 star or more hotel in midtown west (times square) district fot april 1-3. am taking my mother to broadway shows so local is good, but need to have two beds in room. looking to pay up to $175 for four star room in the area. hotwire listing are very expensive for this time. can i get two beds on priceline.

There is a chance you can get two beds... but there are no guarantees, they only guarantee sleeping accomodations for double occupancy (and this can mean one bed). There is a way to guarantee two beds on HOTWIRE but you say a search there has already turned up prices that are too high.

Unless you are willing to accept the possibilty of only one bed in the room, i don't think priceline is going to be the best option for you. However, you may consider getting two rooms on Priceline once you see the prices of NYC hotels... sometimes two on priceline can still be less than one booked conventionally.

due to the need to be guaranteed two beds and a particular room type, we ended up booking directly with the omni berkshire place in manhatten. the rate ended up being slightly higher but any element of doubt re beds was removed. thanx for the help on this.
