Yes, PRICELINE accepts bids this far out.

Summer has traditionally been a more expensive time in Seattle (great weather and lots of cruise ship passengers) although this past year business was somewhat slow and we saw prices quite a bit less than usual.

How high have you bid already?

We have done all of the rebids up to $85. I know this is low, but we were just trying to see what they would accept. Do prices generally drop as the dates get lower?

Not necessarily... it's all based upon supply/demand, hotel occupany levels, how many reservations the hotel has on the books for the specified dates vs. how many they expect they should have at this point in time, how much time is left to sell the rooms, etc.
