Priceline Hotel: SF: Hotwire or Priceline?

I need a hotel in SF for MLK weekend...I am looking for a better 4 star or 4.5 star hotel, in either SOMA, US, or the Financial District. Given that, would you recommend priceline or hotwire?

The Sea World thread we decided not to book a hotel. For the beachfront in September, we ended up getting a room comped for us at the Hotel Del.

I have never used PRICELINE before, only HOTWIRE. So i am not sure how they compare. I have reviewed with the winning bids in the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins, and they seem similar to Hotwire.

Nobody reading your other threads will know to look here to learn that you didn't book a hotel for one of the trips and were comped a room for the other, please follow-up those threads to help keep the board better organized and useful for others, then bump this thread, letting us know the actual dates of your stay above and we'll have a look.

Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases and follow-up your threads with whatever you end up doing for each stay... even if you end up cancelling the trip.
