AaronJB Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Unfortunately, this property has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board. You could see if this hotel appears for the first nite of your stay and then again, also for the for the remainder. If so, you could purchase the first nite in order to 'look behind the curtain' and determine which hotel it is (and 4/5 is a good overall tripadvisor rating.) If you're happy with the results go ahead and purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchase.
traveller-DE Posted January 3, 2010 Author Report Posted January 3, 2010 Hi!Many thanks for the friendly welcome on the board. No doubt that I would book the hotel via the link of this site and that I share my experience with the other board memebers. At the moment I'm not sure if I should book the hotel, because there's one thing which makes me wonder. I can't find a 3*-hotel with a 4 of 5-rating at tripadvisor at South Beach.I think I need to sleep about the decision a few nights. Michael
AaronJB Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 I'll venture a guess that this may be the Townhouse Hotel, as that is a 3* in this zone w/breakfast, some spa amenities (in-room massage available) and appears to be beachfront. It's also 4/5 tripadvisor. However, the only questionable element would be the pool, as the Expedia listing notes: "During the day, the glass water tower is a cave into which sunbathers venture to wet their feet in a shallow pool and sit on benches misted by a small waterfall." If that could be classified as a pool, this would appear to be a possibility. Otherwise, I'm having trouble finding other possibilities within this zone that would fit, unless the tripadvisor rating for this property recently updated (the tripadvisor ratings on HOTWIRE that are shown are not shown in real time.)Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links, and please let us know if you have any questions.
