Great site! I've used this site before (along with the PRICELINE links!) to get some really great deals. I've told others about this.

I'm needing a strategy to get a great 4* either in TS or MTW for Jan 20-24. My bid is already up to $115 and while I've seen others get good deals recently in these to areas for between 115-125, I'd like to try and secure something besides waiting the 24hours. I've read about rebidding before 24hrs, but need some help with this. I'd like to try again at $120 and then $125.

Any help/ideas would be appreciated. I'd like to stick with these two places, but if I need to also venture to MTE and ESB, that would be okay. It appears those are getting even better deals in that area.

Thanks!

Welcome to BetterBidding! Glad to hear the board has been helpful to you in the past and thanks for helping to spread the word about the board, but please also begin to share your wins with the board too, so that the information can best help other users :)

If you want to continue bidding you have FIVE re-bid zones available when bidding 4* in NYC. If you haven't see this particular thread, Priceline Re-Bidding Explained, it details how to determine your re-bid zones. Please give it a read and feel free (ie- you're strongly encouraged to do so) confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding. If you have read the above and are still confused how to determine your re-bid zones, just post back and we'll break it down further for you.

I was able to start a new bid.

4* TS $115 -reject

4* TS & MTW $120 - accepted

Got the Hilton New York for $120. I haven't seen too many postings lately on this. Anyone know if this is a good hotel?

Thanks!

Kate
