pacificboot
Needed to stay in downtown LA for one night next month and I was really hoping for the Marriott and the Sheraton for 3.5 star, because that was the most results of the bidding history. Unfortunately, got the Millenium Biltmore after $55 and $60 rejected. I then checked the reviews and photos and noticed how old and moldy this hotel was. I should have spent probably around $20 more for a 4 star, which will probably be the Westin. I am considering bidding again for the same dates again for a 4 star, and basically forfeiting the amount that I paid earlier. P.S. Used the above PRICELINE links to bid. Free rebid zone = Culver City and Lansdale (a new area not on this forum's list/guide) Link to comment
AaronJB
Sorry to hear that you are disappointed with this deal. I wouldn't try to bid more to get a different property, as you could possibly end up bidding more/overbidding for the same hotel. If you do not intend to use this reservation and want a different hotel, I would suggest searching on HOTWIRE, where you may be able to pinpoint a different property that would be of interest. Please start a new thread and we will be happy to help with the HOTWIRE search if you decide to rebook.Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using the site's PRICELINE link.Enjoy your stay.
