fohaba Posted December 29, 2009 Report Posted December 29, 2009 Help appreciated IDing San Juan 3*: Fitness, Pool, Restaurant only. Jan 7, $88.Thanks!Fohaba
thereuare Posted December 29, 2009 Report Posted December 29, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding!A property with this amenity combination has not yet been reported to the board. HOWEVER, i'm guessing that this may be a property with some amenities 'hiding'.If you change your search to 2adults/2children a 'new' 3* hotel appears in this zone for just about the same price, but with the following amenities: Casino, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Tennis, BusinessThis one is a match for the Sheraton Old San Juan Hotel and Casino so that would be my best guess for this one. Since we can't be certain that this is the same hotel appearing above for 2adults/0children, if you're interested in this property it would be better to purchase as 2adults/2children since that is the 'stronger' match for this property. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. fohaba Posted December 29, 2009 Author Report Posted December 29, 2009 Isn't that weird. Do they do that deliberately so we can't try to figure out which hotel it is? I assume it doesn't matter if I don't actually show up with two kids even if I book it that way? Thanks, and I'll report back, and book through your HOTWIRE link.Fohaba

fohaba Posted December 29, 2009 Author Report Posted December 29, 2009 Do you think there is a "resort fee" or other hidden charges at this Sheraton? Probably parking, and internet.

fohaba Posted January 5, 2010 Author Report Posted January 5, 2010 It turned out to be the Water Club. I paid $88, plus they nail you for a $15 "resort fee" and $20 parking. I'll report back on my stay. Reviews are iffy.
AaronJB Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 Thank you for sharing your win with the board. Hopefully the property will exceed expectations. Can you confirm the amenities with the listing? Thank you. :)Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links.Enjoy your stay.
thereuare Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 It turned out to be the Water Club.Sorry to hear you didn't received the hotel you were hoping for. Did you purchase as 2adults/0children or 2adults/2children? The Water Club doesn't have a Casino so i'm assuming you didn't purchase the 'stronger' match for the Sheraton... can you please add a reply to this thread with the amenities shown before your purchase.
