Priceline Hotel: 3.5* NYC (Times Square-Theatre District) Millenium Broadway

I am new to this forum, great information!!! I like it.

I am looking for a room in the Times Square Area for 12/31 - 1/3. Would like to do 3.5 or 4 star and like to stay in Times Square Area, to be close to everything. Would like to keep it around $800 total. Any suggestions? I have explored HOTWIRE and am realtively new to PRICELINE.

NYE is a VERY expensive date in NYC (4*'s are showing on Orbitz for $500+), although the days afterwards are more reasonably priced. Still, given the pricey initial date, I think $800 for the total is unfortunately going to be difficult. Are you interested in the TS area only, or would you be willing to consider other zones?

Searching HOTWIRE there is a 3.5* in the MTE zone with Fitness, Restaurant, Business and Internet icons.

For 12/31-1/1: $378/nite ($442 all-in)

For 1/1-1/3: $119/nite ($289 all-in)

The Roosevelt, Tudor Hotel at the United Nations, and Doubletree Metropolitan have all reported with the amenities above, so any of these would be my best guess. Since there are multiple properties that have been reported with the amenity combination above, it's possible that it's a different hotel offered for each nite, so you'll need to be willing to change hotels during your stay should you receive different hotels... but the above does come in under your $800 budget.

Did 3.5* and got Millenium Broadway Hotel for $275/night +taxes for 12/31 - 1/3.
