mlascheid Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 Could anyone help identify this hotel? It is listed as a 3 1/2 * in the Ft. lauderdale beach zone. Amenities include: Hotel, Suite, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness Center, and Business Center. Thanks for any help!

mlascheid Posted January 9, 2005 Author Report Posted January 9, 2005 Thanks...glad to be here. Thank you for all of the valuable info that is posted on these boards. I will be needing a room for 1 night on Feb. 6(Sunday). Sorry I forgot to add that in the previous post.
thereuare Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 This hotel has not yet been identified, but if i were to guess, i'd guess the Doubletree Guest Suites. If you purchase this please confirm the identity for us and begin your puchase HERE.Thanks! mlascheid Posted January 10, 2005 Author Report Posted January 10, 2005 That's what I was thinking. Do you know anything about the Doubletree Suites? If I go for it, I'll let you know what it is for sure. Thanks for your help.
thereuare Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 You can read THESE REVIEWS which seem mixed (love it or hate it), but for $75 vs. best rate on their website of $143 i suppose there is value to be had there (of course this assumes we're correct). You could roll the dice and try to beat the above rate via Priceline (subject to any hotel in the zone), or if you need the extra room an all-suite property provides than you can take the above if you're happy with it. mlascheid Posted January 10, 2005 Author Report Posted January 10, 2005 Thanks for the input....I'm going to think about it. May give Priceline another try first.
mlascheid Posted October 14, 2005 Author Report Posted October 14, 2005 Sorry, The reason I didn't post again on this thread was because I was unable to get anything on Priceline and just decided to go with the Amerisuites through Valuetrips for $79. My apologies!!
