Priceline Hotel: 3* Vancouver (Downtown) Coast Plaza Suites

I recently reserved a hotel room through PRICELINE for New Years Eve and figured I would try and stay another day/night since I'm sure I won't be in any mood or condition to wake up early and drive all the way back home to Seattle. My previous winning priceline bid was for $70 dollars and since that was achieved for New Years Eve, I had the feeling I could drop the price substantially lower and get the same results for New Years Day.

I tried to get the same hotel I won before by selecting the Downtown Vancouver Granville zone and also picking the same 3* level as well. My first bid was $44 and was promptly rejected. I switched zones, but didn't think to get a free bid by selecting a zone that doesn't have 3*. I included just Downtown Vancouver as my next zone. I also raised my bid to $50 dollars and this bid was accepted by Coast Plaza Hotel. I've stayed there before and it's a decent place. Good luck folks!
