edrut25 Posted December 26, 2009 Report Posted December 26, 2009 Hi All...Heading to Philly for a leisure trip and used the site for my bidding.Opened bidding at $40 for Downtown Philly @ 3.5* Bid was declinedRe-bid at $45 and added 3*as well as adding Cherry Hill area Bid was accepted for Residence Inn- Cherry Hill !! I was hoping for success outside the city which is why I started there at a lower bid that I knew would have a very small chance of being accepted. My strategy was then to add the Cherry Hill area which was my preference and keep my bid low. I now don't have to worry about a $30-$40 per night parking charge at a downtown hotel but do get a very nice property at a very low rate. Don't know if I had to go through all that to get my bid accepted but wanted to try my thought process and put it to test. Used the PRICELINE link on the site here to begin my bidding. Thanks
