hi i have never used PL or hotwire before ..

i want to book a hotel in New York city (preferably near an underground station ) ..One room for 2 adults.. My budget is around 100$ per night (Check in date Jan 8, Check out date Jan 11). What is the best area to search for since i am just a tourist who hasn't visited New York before and wants to visit the basic tourist spots using public transportation? ( Empire State building, Grand Zero, Central Park, Times square etc).

Any other advices/tips/suggested bidding methods will be appreciated!

Thanks

Generally speaking any fo the midtown zones work fine for the average visitor: MTE, MTW, TS, CPS, ESB, and MSG. HOWEVER, note that at the 3.5* level in the MTE zone is the Millenium UN, which is a well reviewed property, it is a bit far east and a 15 minute walk to the subway... something which may be fine for some in the Spring/Fall, but perhaps not when it's cold in January; so depending upon your tolerance you may or may not want to include this zone in your bidding.

Let us know your thoughts and how you'd like to proceed (if you want to include MTE in your bidding or not) and we'll advise accordingly.
