Used the PRICELINE link. I was looking for a 3.5 star or better in the Oak Brook/Downers Grove area for three nights. Began with a bid of $30 and was rejected. At this star level, there are 12 rebidding zones. Using them, I upped my bid by a dollar or two until I got accepted.

Room price: $36 for three nights ($108)

Taxes and fees: $21.57

Total: $129.57
