funtimegal Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 I have tried over two days now with different priced bids. Yesterday tired several bids in the $75-85 range in Kohala coast/KonaToday I tried; 1/24/09-1/27/09bid 1: Kohala coast, resort $88bid 2:Kohala coast, resort + 4* $90all rejectedNot sure why my bids keep getting rejected when other people seem to get the Hapuna Prince for $77+
AaronJB Posted December 24, 2009 Report Posted December 24, 2009 Keep in mind that rates are date-specific and what one user may get for one set of dates may not work for a set of dates even a week later. Please let us know your max budget per night and we will be happy to offer suggestions on how to proceed. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchase.
funtimegal Posted December 24, 2009 Author Report Posted December 24, 2009 I probably wouldn't want to pay a lot more than $100, maybe up to $115 but I know there will probably be additional parking fees too on top of the total PRICELINE bid.
thereuare Posted December 24, 2009 Report Posted December 24, 2009 With only one re-bid zone i would bid as follows:Select Resort Waikoloa...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $100, if rejected close browser and use our link to re-access PRICELINESelect 4* Waikoloa...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $100If rejected i'd then wait 24 hours and increase each bid by $10 (so your bid amounts are $105 and $110)... then if that is rejected try one more time after 24 hours, using $105 and $115 as your bid amounts.Any questions feel free to ask. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Good luck! Keep us updated and let us know how it goes. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
