Hotwire Hotel: 3* Los Angeles (San Pedro) Doubletree

I haven't been here in awhile and I accidentally didn't use the hotwire/PRICELINE link a few months ago on a trip so I wanted to make sure I posted my results and say thanks (did use the HOTWIRE link this time). Booking a one night hotel room for pre-cruise.

Tried to bid San Pedro area for 3.5* on priceline for $52 got rejected, added LGB area (that doesn't have 3.5* hotels) and moved up to $55 but was rejected. Wanted to get this done and identified the Doubletree through the Hotwire list descriptions for $69. It was still cheaper than my other options so booked it.

ETA: Not sure if San Pedro is supposed to be in the Los Angeles or the "other" city lists. Seems like there are some posts in both categories. Please move to where you feel fits and possibly add a little clarification for future posters (maybe I just missed it).

Glad to see you received the hotel you were hoping for and saved some money on this stay.

The 'classification' can be confusing, but to clarify... HOTWIRE includes this in their "Los Angeles region" whereas PRICELINE does not. So for HOTWIRE purchases threads go in the "Hotwire - Los Angeles" and for PRICELINE purchases the threads go in the "Priceline - Other Cities" forum. Hope that makes sense.
