eshspres
I am going to be in the KC area for a wedding from the 13th of April through the evening of the 16th. I haven't really done my homework yet, but I know how great this site is about that. I'm looking to pay less than $50 a night for a 3* or 4* at either the Plaza or Crown Center , with Plaza being more preferable. Link to comment
thereuare
At the 3* level you have 5 re-bids for each zone, i suspec that your $50 maximum will be too low for the Country Club Plaza area, but we'll try that first since it's your prefered zone, then we'll switch to the Crown Center. I'm assuming that zone up to $50 takes priority over price (ie- you'd rather a $50 win in the Plaza area than a $40 win in the Crown Center area... if this is incorrect post back for a correct strategy)Select 3* Country Club Plaza....Bid $40, if rejected add re-bid zone and...Bid $42, if rejected add re-bid zone and...Bid $44, if rejected add re-bid zone and...Bid $46, if rejected add re-bid zone and...Bid $48, if rejected add re-bid zone and...Bid $50.If that is rejected close that browser and re-access Priceline however you did previously.Select 3* Crown Center...Bid $32, if rejected add re-bid zone and...Bid $35, if rejected add re-bid zone and...Bid $40, if rejected add re-bid zone and...Bid $44, if rejected add re-bid zone and...Bid $47, if rejected add re-bid zone and...Bid $50.Any questions feel free to ask.Good Luck and let us know how it goes. eshspres
What do you think?Lees Summit, MO (4/13-4/17)Hotwire only has one hotel for $59. I know there aren't many hotels in the area, so getting one for relatively cheap shouldn't be a problem. The nicer, the cheaper, the better. Link to comment

eshspres
No, because my plans have changed. Rather than staying in the Country Club or Crown Center areas I am going to be staying in Lee's Summit. Any advice for that area? Link to comment
eshspres
Another belated response:I ended up going through Expedia and finding a hotel I knew for sure in the Lee's Summit area (Holiday Inn Express) and paid $80 a night (if I remember correctly). Link to comment
