RBR Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 I am looking at three hotel options in NY for a stay 12/22 - 12/23 and am looking for help on determing which hotels they are:1) Midtown East: $102 - 3.5*, Fitness, Restaurant, Business, Internet2) Midtown East: $149 - 4*, Fitness, Restaurant, Business, Internet, Tennis3) Midtown Central: $113 - 3.5*, Fitness, Restaurant, Business, InternetThanks and I will definately do by purchasing through a HOTWIRE link on your site. This is a great site.
AaronJB Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Good afternoon. Glad you are finding the site helpful! :) The 3.5* MTE could be possibly the Roosevelt, Doubletree Met or Tudor - all three have been reported with this amenity set.4* MTE could either be the Grand Hyatt or Intercontinental, but the tripadvisor rating showing would suggest the GH.The 3.5* MTC would likely be the Hudson. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchase.
RBR Posted December 17, 2009 Author Report Posted December 17, 2009 Given your helpful answers, and the fact those hotels did not seem all that appealing, I decided to go up to 4.5* and book the The Benjamin ($146, 4.5*, MTE: Fitness, Restaurant, Business, Internet, Spa). I was expecting to get the W (which I was kind of OK but not completely thrilled with). The Benjamin was a great surprise. Great location and very very good Tripadvisor reviews.I went through the HOTWIRE link on this site. Thank you again for the great service.
thereuare Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Congratulations on your success!Glad to see you were pleasantly surprised with the results of this purchase. The W was last reported as a 4* so this was more likely the Benjamin (which as last reported as a 4.5*) than the W. The Benjamin does get very good reviews and should work out quite well for your stay.Thank you for sharing your results with the board and using our HOTWIRE link to begin your purchase.Enjoy your nite in the city! Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
