I'm not sure about the LDW but my rental was only for one day - my assumption was that it was $9 per day but I have to admit I do not know that for sure. However, a $9 flat fee for any rental seems way too good to be true. I'll be renting same location for a multi-day trip in the future and will check then.

Thanks for the info. At least there is now an option for primary coverage for those who want it. (i'm usually not an advocate of the insurance option, but for those who select it, $9 does seem pretty reasonable)
